CYCLING FORUM
Cycling Forum
Within the celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of Milano Torino, on 17 March the Cycling Forum will take place at Cinema Massimo in Turin. The event, organised in collaboration with the Italian Cycling Federation, will focus on the key themes shaping the evolution of contemporary cycling.
The forum will bring together the organisers of some of Italy’s most important cycling races, alongside institutional representatives, industry experts and leading figures from the sporting world. Through first-hand testimonies and dedicated presentations, the event will provide a platform for meaningful discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing the national cycling movement.
During the forum, several key topics related to the development of the sector will be addressed, including:
- The importance of television involvement in the organisation of a sporting event and in enhancing the value of the cycling product.
- Territorial legacy, meaning the long-term impact a race can generate for the communities and regions involved.
- Technical innovation in materials, a strategic element for competitiveness, sustainability and rider safety.
- The role of sponsorships, essential to supporting the economic and organisational growth of events.
- The importance of safety, a crucial issue increasingly at the centre of discussions among organisers, institutions and stakeholders.
Cinema Massimo will provide the setting for an afternoon of insight, vision and dialogue, reaffirming Turin as a key hub for sporting culture and for the promotion of Italy’s great cycling classics, including Milano-Torino.
